Success – something we all want – can be a moving target. You work hard to achieve a certain goal, whether it is finishing college, getting a promotion, or being able to hold a plank for 45 seconds. By the time you get to your goal, the changes that you made to get there be come habit, and the “end point” you were striving for is no longer the ‘end of the road’, but rather a milepost along the way to somewhere else.
It could be that your goal was to complete your first 5k. It took work, commitment and discipline to make it happen. Once the celebration is over, tho, you start to envision something more. Maybe you want to improve your time. Or you want to increase your distance. Either way, you’ve got a new goal to aim for, a new mark of success.
The journey continues, giving us the opportunity to build on the strengths we have worked hard to gain and to find our own creative path around the obstacles life throws in our way. Tell me about your successes, and how they impact your goals!

One of the many things I enjoyed about your style of training was your “moving targets”. Always adjusting and seeing success in small increments really motivated me!
Your hard work made it possible, Marie! There is nothing like consistent, long term exercise at the right intensity for making huge differences.
